Activity 1: EdPuzzle


The first activity we have done is an Edpuzzle. The teacher is going to give to the children a link and they have to watch the video at home before the class, and also answer all the questions are included on the video. We have created two videos, one about the food pyramid and the other about the digestive system.

Activity 2: Survey 1


The goal of this survey is to know the starting point (where we are now) of each student in relation to their diet and nutritional habits.
Due to this we are not going to evaluate this activity so they can feel free to writte the truth (we don't have rubric in this activity).

Activity 3: Food pyramid craft


Each student individually, must create a food pyramid in 3D with the necessary nutrients in each stage.

Activity 4: Food pyramid graphing


They have to classify each food in the correct part of the table.

Activity 5: Kahoot


An interactive quiz focused on nutrition that will be done in groups in order to asses their knowledge of nutrition and respiratory system.

Activity 6: Supermarket


This activity consists of going to a real supermarket (Eroski, already asked to do it) where the students, assigned into groups of 3, have to buy different types of nutrients in order to achieve a healthy diet. The teacher will give them a list with the necessary ingredients that each group of students has to buy with fake money.

  1. 1 kg of carbohydrates
  2. 500 grams of fats
  3. 350 grams of proteins

The goal of this survey is to know what they have learned about the whole unit and how they would make their own healthy diet and nutritional habits.
The main point is evaluate their knowledge about nutrition after all the explanations and researches.
